About Me

I was one of those kids who used to spend a lot of time on the family computer working on my Mary Kate and Ashley fanzine and writing short stories based on The Secret World of Alex Mack, so it’s probably no surprise to hear that I’m a journalist.

After college I worked as the music editor for a quarterly arts & culture magazine called BRM, where I got to do a little bit of everything from writing to editing to corralling the interns.

Recently I earned a Master’s in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in New York. During the last four years I’ve interned at NPR’s All Songs Considered, SPIN and BUST Magazine. I’ve also freelanced for The Woodside Herald, Brooklyn Based and The New York Times blog The Local.

You should hire me.
